James Earp is a native Texan, and a graduate of the University of North Texas in Denton.  He joined John Hancock in 1992, after a very successful career in the business arena.

James and his wife of 30-plus years, Mary, have two grown children.  They are active members of the FirstBaptistChurch in Denton, where James serves as a Deacon.  He is also a board member of the ROME Foundation which is dedicated to building clinics and hospitals in Haiti.  An active member of the community, James serves as a Board Member of Hope for the Children of Haiti (helping orphans in Haiti) and a volunteer in the criminal justice area.  James and Mary live in Denton, TX.
